About me
My name is Ahmed Ibrahim and I'm a junior at Iowa City West High School. I'm currently a Print Design Co-Editor for West Side Story, the student-run publication of Iowa City West High School.
As a Design Editor, I'm tasked with making sure every West Side Story issue looks its best. From creating a design library that gives each issue of the West Side Story a cohesive feel, to guiding newer designers in exploring their own creative styles, I strive to make sure this award-winning publication always looks the part.
Being part of West Side Story staff has provided me with opportunities I would've never dreamed about. Recently, I've been able to design a video graphics package for screens inside the gym for Iowa City West's boys and girls basketball teams, and I'm currently in the process of creating the program for the 99th Annual IBA Conference in May.
In my free time I enjoy watching sports and constantly scrolling Pinterest in search of my next design inspiration.
